Dear Uttarakhandi Friends,

 As you all know that Young Uttarakhand is a All India Registered Society working with broader aim to build a platform for Development of Uttarakhand and its people.

 Young Uttarakhand has been involved in various social projects that are primarily focussed on the students of Uttarakhand who are deprived of Good Education, Competitive Environment and Career Guidance.

 Presently, Young Uttarakhand is simaltaneously executing the following three projects  aimed to help the Students in the villages of Uttarakhand to get more aware of the Competitive environment in the Employment Market.

 1. Young Uttarakhand conducts and Essay writing competition annually and distributes scholarships to the meritious students thus helping them financially and motivating them for higher studies.

2. Young Uttarakhand has started the intiative of organizing Career Guidance Camps throughout the schools of Uttarakhand. A Team of YU visits these remote locations and delivers Career Guidance Lectures, Career and Competitive Exams related books to the students of Uttarakhand. We also offer scholarships to the needy and meritious students so that they can pursue higher studies. So far YU team has organized two Career Guidance Camps in the Garhwal and Kumaon Region respectively.

3. Young Uttarakhand is now preparing a Career Guidance Chart for the Students of Uttarakhand which would be in the form of a World Map. It would be a tabular representation of all the Professional Courses available in the Universities / Institutes of Uttarakhand giving all the minute details related to the particular courses so as to make the students aware about all these opportunities. These Calendar would be published for more than 1500 Intermediate Schools in Uttarakhand.

 Young Uttarakhand would continue its efforts towards helping the students of Uttarakhand by developing more of such Projects and executing them in the Schools of Uttarakhand.
