Dear Uttarakhandi Friend,
Warm greetings from the Team of Young Uttarakhand.
As you all know that Young Uttarakhand is an association of Youths of Uttarakhand who have tried to built a platform for the Uttarakhandis linked through Internet and has successfully synergized their energy and resources towards development of the people and State of Uttarakhand. You have, so far, been active in the group either by browsing the website regularly, joining our Yahoo or Orkut group and participating in the Discussion threads or by donating or physically involving yourself in the activities of the Group such as the Career Guidance Camps, Free Medical Camps, Essay Writing Competition etc.
Now we have the pleasure to inform you that Young Uttarakhand is an All India Registered Society with its membership extending to all the States of India. Here is an opportunity for you to create a difference by joining the group as an Registered member. The registration process is simple as one can become registered member of the group just by filling up the form and sending it to our us with a draft of Rs.200/- as the annual fees for the group.
Now you must be thinking what are the benefits of being a registered member. As you know that today Young Uttarakhand has a base in almost all the States of India as well as some of the foreign countries such as USA, UK and United Arab Emirates. Being registered member entitles you to seek help through the group from the members who are active in your area on job related issues and any other issue. Some of the other benefits are enumerated as follows :
1. You would be kept informed of all the activities of the group by means of email being sent only to the registered members.
2. You would be entitled to participate in all the activities / camps organized by the group.
3. You would be invited to attend the Cultural programs organized by the Society from time to time.
4. Registered members would be given preference and recommended informally if they apply for a job placed in the group by other active members.
5. You would be entitled to participate in the elections and also get yourself elected as one of the Officer bearers in the Society
6. Above all you would be part of one of the largest Community of Uttaranchalis having a wide base and seek help from the Society in case of any emergency / exigency.
By getting yourself registered in the Society you would be officially announcing your participation and inclination for working towards the cause of Development of Uttarakhand and its people.
So here is an opportunity for you to become a 'Young Uttarakhandi' by getting registered member of the YU group. Just fill in the form enclosed and a cheque / draf amounting to Rs.200/- and send it to us at the following address at the earliest.
